Media & Political Testimony

The criminal legal system was created and is maintained through policy choices. I actively participate in state and federal policy regarding the intersection of the criminal legal system and health and am always open to speaking with the media about these topics.

Selected Political Testimony & Support

I actively contributed to and endorsed the Federal Environmental Health in Prisons Act.

I am a member of the Right Response Coalition, a coalition focused on disentangling behavioral health from the criminal legal system. Through this work, I have provided state-level testimony to oppose the felonization of fentanyl, to support Overdose Prevention Centers, and to call for a public health approach to criminal legal task forces.
